The moral laws
There are three important moral laws believed to have been enacted by the Surprem Being (Okan-Ene or Awaji,Owaji Ile) at creation which are binding upon all Obolo sons and daughters.Sizeable number of the people held that these moral laws are highly sanctimonious and therefore hardly ever transgressed for fear of sanction(s) or punishment from the unseen hands of the creator (Okan-Ene)
These moral laws are:
1.Awaji Ugot:This is a law pertaining to in-laws in which it is a sacrilege for anyone to defraud, cause any form of affliction, pain, injury to an in-law,kill in-law or take part in any plan to do so.
2.Awaji Eyeyen:This is a law relating to grandchildren. All the restrictions as applied in the preceding case of in-laws is applied here.Thst is why Manning Eyeyen(grand children) are held in very high esteem in Obolo land
3.Awaji Ebichien
