I’ll get Grammy next year, my music not for everyone – Whitemoney tells critics

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija season 6 winner, Whitemoney has responded to criticisms about venturing into the Nigerian music industry.

Whitemoney recently released his song which has stirred reactions from fans online.

Some Nigerians commended him, while others asked him to stop trying music and use his prize money for something better, adding that he’s not that talented in that aspect.

Responding to criticisms of his music career, Whitemoney on CoolFm said his music was not for everyone, adding that he does not need to have a sleek voice to impress the audience.

According to him, music is all about passing the right message to his audience.

He said: “There’s a lot of comparison with other BBNaija winners or housemates that have gone into music

“I don’t want to go into music. I’ve been into music. I didn’t just have the platform to showcase it like I have now.

“My music cannot be for everybody, I’m cool with my crowd. Not everyone will have a sleek voice, it’s all about passing the message with my music.”

When asked where he sees his music career next year, Whitemoney said “By this time next year I’ll get a Grammy Insha Allah.”
